SCOPE OF WORK
Job overview: A People Operations Manager works in our diverse group of businesses, including a marketing agency, alcohol import and distribution, and F&B. The People Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources and administration, from recruitment to offboarding, compensation and benefits, employee relations, legal compliance, budgeting and further.
Job Description:
1. Compensation and Benefits Management:
Oversee payroll processing, including statutory deductions and bank transactions for all business units.
Manage employee compensation and benefits, including social insurance, non-statutory insurance, and performance bonus reviews.
Collaborate with insurance brokers to select appropriate healthcare and accident insurance schemes for employees.
2. Performance Management:
Provide support to team leaders to cascade and communicate their key performance indicators to their team members and develop performance goals that are aligned to the business requirements.
Support & coach team leaders on how to have effective performance evaluation conversations.
Coach team leaders on how to structure performance improvement plans and then have effective conversations around improvement areas with employees.
3. Employee Relations and Engagement:
Foster a positive and inclusive work culture by promoting employee engagement initiatives.
Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivities and retention.
Handle employee relations matters and address any concerns or conflicts that may arise.
Facilitate the learning needs analysis process in order to determine gaps, key developmental areas and liaise with the management team to deliver appropriate interventions.
4. HR Policies and Procedures:
Develop and implement comprehensive HR policies and procedures, including pay scales, performance assessment and bonuses, leave policy, and recruitment procedures, internal regulation.
5. Budgeting and Administration:
Manage the annual HR & Admin budget for each business unit within the group.
Oversee administrative HR tasks, such as labor contracts, decision letters, and office building operations.
Plan and execute company events and activities, such as leadership luncheons, monthly birthday parties, and company trips.
6. Legal Compliance:
Stay up to date with labor laws and social insurance regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant legal requirements.
And other duties as determined by the line manager after due consultation.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 3 years as a People Operations Manager or similar HR role, preferably in a diverse business environment.
Advanced English proficiency required at IELTS 7.0 equivalent. You will be required to use English as our 1st language in the company.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and social insurance regulations in Vietnam.
Familiarity with payroll processing and compensation management.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
